Privacy notice
Effective October 15, 2026
This notice explains how Ink Master Shirts ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit inkmastershirts.com, place an order, request a custom shirt or contact us. Questions? Email cs@inkmastershirts.com.
Information we collect
- Order details: name, email, phone, shipping address, the items you buy and your order notes.
- Account details: if you create an account, your name, email, phone, saved address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
- Custom requests: the information and artwork you send us through the custom shirt form.
- Messages: what you write to us through the contact form or by email.
- Payment: card payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number goes directly to Stripe and never reaches our servers. We receive only a payment confirmation.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser type are processed briefly to protect the site from abuse (for example, limiting repeated sign-in attempts) and appear in standard server logs.
How we use it
- To process, print, ship and support your orders (performance of a contract).
- To prepare quotes and proofs for custom shirts and to call or email you about them (steps you ask us to take before a contract).
- To answer your messages (legitimate interest in serving customers).
- To keep the site secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interest and legal obligation).
- To keep records required for taxes and accounting (legal obligation).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with service providers who help us run the store: our web hosting provider, Stripe for card payments, our email provider for order emails, and shipping carriers to deliver your package. Each is bound to protect your data. We may disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, usually up to seven years. Custom request details and artwork are kept for up to two years so we can reprint your design, unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Contact messages are deleted within two years. You can delete your account at any time from My account; order records we must keep for tax purposes are then no longer linked to a login.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the EU and UK GDPR and US state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email cs@inkmastershirts.com. We will respond within the time the law requires and will not treat you differently for exercising your rights. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to run the store, such as keeping your cart and sign-in. Details are in our cookie policy, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link in the footer.
Security
The site runs over encrypted HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, payment data is handled by Stripe, uploaded artwork is stored privately, and access to our admin tools is restricted and protected.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this notice. The effective date above shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
